5s day came into existence thanks to Nick of NAV Media Lifestyle, suggesting it would be a great idea for the little dongsaeng of the RX7 that annually has 7s Day (shout out to PRIME) to have their own small version that can celebrate pop up headlights.

The planning for the actual shoot was done almost a year in advance. Unfortunately some of us that were original founding MOB members, had a series of bad accidents with our roadsters. The two that did not make it were Nick’s NA and Martin’s NA.

The city was slowly twerking its way back to a sundress season body. It was a brisk day, cold, but you needed a beanie, and some nubuck construction boots. We all showed up and met in Yokohama, Brooklyn Bay. There was a brief meeting for Nick to let us know the plan for the night and we were off.
