I actually stumbled upon this car show last year from a friend of mine Chris Booth’s Instagram story. I was told that the variety of cars is well worth the trip. Fast forward a year later and due to another rain delay that worked out in my favor, I was able to attend this event.

The C&C annually takes place in the Garden State Plaza parking lot from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sections are divided into regular parking as a spectator or if you plan to show your ride they group you in the European, American, Japanese, or VIP area for special cars. If you intend to go to this event, I advise that you show up early to get good parking. Park as close as you can to an exit and you will thank me for saving you time when you need to leave.

I knew it was going to be a fun event just by the diverse group of cars that were stuck in traffic when we were all waiting to be instructed which sections of the lot to park. Eventually the lot filled and people were just parking anywhere there was a spot.

I want to give a special shot out to Howie (also the owner of a Honda ACTY kei truck). He was part of a group of Honda Beat enthusiast that certainly caught my attention. I was able to speak to him and get a close look at this dope kei vert. What surprised me with the car is how much comfort and room you have in the cabin. For reference you have a lot more space than an NA Miata.
