Chicago With Cado San Part I: The Show
I first met Cado San at the Afro-Punk Battle of the Bands performing during the 2018 festival in New York City. Since then, I have been a fan of his music. You cannot categorize his style and sound to one genre because he is a student and fan of music. One minute he is laying down lyrics on a beat with heavy 808s, next he is on a soulful R&B tune singing and can also be found rocking out to the sounds of the electric guitar. I was given the opportunity to follow Cado San during a recent show and he also allowed me to see how he creates music. Thank you for showing me the process and educating me on music and amongst other things.
I want to say a huge shoutout to Cado San for the hospitality for showing me around the beautiful city of Chicago. It was great to link up and see Nemo and Andy again. Thank you to Shae, RJ, and all the new people I have also met.
My time with Cado is split into three posts which are the show, the studio session, and a day with the man himself. There will be a full feature on Cado in the future. Additional links can be found on the last post of my time in Chicago.
