Machine Lush is an automotive group founded by Jonathan Chin. I first met Jonathan as a Miata owner. He previously owned a black soft top NA. We first met at New Jersey Miata’s Fall end of the season meet in 2015. He has gone on to the Toyota GT-86 platform, but his passion for cars has led him to create the group Machine Lush that is for the car enthusiast in the tri-state area. I am part of this group and it is beautiful to see a diverse mix of car enthusiast, along with events that focus on developing your driving skills, or just regular car meets to link up with local tuners and friends.

Jonathan along with co-organizer Rico held their second annual event for the Toyota 86 Day in NJ on 8/6. A lot of 86 owners came out to celebrate their day. Many of us fell in love with the car through either Keiichi Tsuchiya or Initial D. It was not just 86 owners that came out, but other car enthusiasts that show the cultural effect this specific platform had on the entire automotive culture.
