There has not been an active Miata roadster club in New York City over the past few years (this dating back from when I bought my roadster on 5.15). The last known crew to my knowledge is NYC Miatas. I first met Caleb, the founder of Miatas of Brooklyn during a Long Island Miata meet last summer (6.18.). We actually had known each other from the forum miata.net in regards to forming a proper roadster club in NYC. Fast forward to about one month later on 7.18, the first meet which had heavy rain was at a bar in Tokyo Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Three people showed up but the rest is history.

The name MOB came about during one of the weekends we decided that since there was more than 5 of us (Original Members: Caleb, Nick, Kevin, Martin, Ricardo, Nishal, and yours truly), we needed a name and logo for our group. We collectively agreed on the abbreviated name of MOB which stands for Miatas of Brooklyn.
